RCD Testing
RCDs or Residual Current Devices, otherwise known as Safety Switches, are a vital part of
an electrical system.
Occupational Health & Safety Regulations require that RCDs be kept in a safe working
condition and tested regularly.
Furthermore, records have to be maintained of electrical equipment, formal inspections and
tests carried out and a register of any repairs that were required following inspection and
testing.
